People often say to me, “Why do you have a tattoo website, when only hairy bikers or mentally disturbed people get tattoos?” My answer to them (yes, I know I probably talk to the wrong people!) is that they are so wrong and if they only looked at a few TV programmes or magazines, they will see that tattoos are becoming hugely popular amongst people from all backgrounds and employment status.

Tattoos are actually becoming recognized and considered “normal”. Can you imagine saying that 20 years ago? I don’t think so.

They have a meaning and not all are even meant to “show off”. Often they are placed on discreet places of the body and only the person who has it knows it’s there. On the flip side, it isn’t just hairy bikers who get them either.
