David Beckham is quite possible one of the most photographed celebrities on the planet. This is because he is one of the most popular celebrities that doesn’t shy away from the limelight, like others do. His famous marriage to Victoria Beckham, combined with his highly paid football career, means he is very rarely out of the newspapers.

Now playing for the LA Galaxy and possibly (although I hope not!) coming to the end of his England football playing days, it is obviously important for him to look his best at all times as he knows he will be photographed almost everywhere he goes. So his tattoos are very special to him too and he takes pride in them as they all have special meanings to him.

His children make up some of his tattoos, whether it is by name or by meaning. I guess David’s most popular tattoo is the piece on his back (below). The tattooist who took on the job was Lou Molloy from Middleton Tattoo Studio. You may have seen his TV show which is called London Ink. It follows the real life stories of people getting tattoos in the shop and why they are getting them. It’s a great program and follows the same format of Miami Ink and Kat Von Dee’s LA Ink.

It is unknown where David got all of his tattoos done, as he has so many. His arms, chest and back are heavily covered in various tattoos as you can see from the pictures. He obviously has a passion for them and it is clear to see he is proud of them.

Apparently he is leaving room on his body for tattoos of future children but I’m not sure posh (Victoria) is too keen on having more children! I guess only time will tell.
